Its our FINAL STOP on the road to the highly anticipated Venom film due out October 5th! To prepare for the movie, the guys at CBC decided to look at some of the source material used for the production, specifically Venom's first story arc Venom: Lethal Protector. Considered required reading when you think of the character, Lethal Protector follows Eddie Brock as he ditches the NYC Skyline for San Francisco, hoping to become a hero himself. Instead he is met with a slew of bad guys, shifty businessmen and the Life Foundation, a group of rich people arming themselves for the apocalypse. Its one wild ride but shows how great the symbiotic relationship between Brock and Venom truly is!

With the Venom film moving ever closer, the guys get nostalgic and get back in the Delorean. The destination? 1994! Back when things were all that and a bag of chips, one of the most prolific cartoons based on a comic was born, with the debut of Spider-Man the Animated Series! The show educated an entire generation of wall crawling Spidey fans, and it was on THIS show that many got their first look at Venom and the alien suit in the part story The Alien Costume.
